Overview
On Line Design, Inc. is looking for an experienced Control Systems Engineer to support on-site in Greensboro, NC. In this role, you will be responsible for inventing, developing, reapplying, and delivering processes across power and controls platforms, automation, robotic systems, and industrial software solutions. This role will include field studies, drawing updates, and integration for manufacturing.
Responsibilities:
- Power and controls installation, integration and start-up supporting new processes and/or packaging equipment
- Own the programming definition, testing, and execution for Industrial Control Systems (ICS) such as Programmable Logic Controller (PLCs) and Human-to-Machine Interfaces (HMIs)
- Integrate the Industrial Control Systems with Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) to provide process monitoring, reliability information and quality control
- Lead electrical VATs (vendor acceptance tests) on equipment
- Lead manufacturing automation through controls engineering
Requirements:
- Bachelors in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering
- 5+ years of electrical engineering experience in electrical controls or automation
- Allen Bradley ControLogix / PowerFlex / FTView experience
- Previous experience in Utilities systems (similar to those above)
- Familiarity with Controls IT networking (i.e. Ethernet IP, virtual machines, etc.)
Desired Requirements:
- Familiarity with manufacturing environments
- Previous experience with electrical hardware design
