Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Pricing Clerk to join our dynamic retail team. Duties
- Collect and input pricing data using mobile data collection software and barcode scanners to ensure accuracy across all products.
- Analyze pricing trends and sales data to assist in strategic decision-making and promotional planning.
- Maintain updated planograms and inventory records, ensuring proper stock levels and product placement.
- Support inventory management by conducting regular stock counts, managing stock replenishment, and controlling inventory discrepancies.
- Operate cash registers, handle cash transactions, and perform cashiering duties with precision and excellent customer service skills.
- Assist with merchandising tasks such as stocking shelves, organizing displays, and implementing visual marketing strategies.
- Provide exceptional customer support by addressing inquiries related to pricing, product availability, and store policies using clear communication skills.
Qualifications
- Multilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve diverse customer needs effectively.
- Previous retail store experience with familiarity in retail math, inventory control, and merchandising is preferred.
- Strong analysis skills with the ability to interpret sales data and adjust pricing strategies accordingly.
- Proficiency in computer skills including Microsoft Excel, mobile devices, barcode scanners, and mobile data collection software.
- Excellent communication skills in English; bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply.
- Experience with cash handling, cashiering, filing, and administrative tasks demonstrating organizational skills.
- Basic math proficiency along with numeracy skills necessary for accurate data entry and inventory calculations.
- Knowledge of planograms, inventory management systems, marketing principles, and retail sales strategies is a plus.
