Home Medix, a leading Durable Medical Equipment (DME) provider, is seeking a Bilingual Customer Service Representative who is fluent in Spanish to join our dynamic team. As a Customer Service Representative, you will play a vital role in assisting our diverse clientele with their DME needs, both over the phone and in-person. A strong background in the DME industry is essential for this position.
Responsibilities:
- Answer incoming phone calls and assist customers with inquiries, orders, and support requests.
- Efficiently handle e-faxes and process incoming orders for DME products and services.
- Accurately enter patient demographics and insurance information into our cloud-based DME order processing software.
- Schedule deliveries and coordinate logistics for timely and accurate delivery of DME products.
- Assist walk-in customers by providing exceptional service, answering questions, and guiding them through the DME selection process.
- Collaborate with other team members to resolve customer issues and ensure a positive customer experience.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of DME products, insurance requirements, and industry trends.
Requirements:
- Fluency in both English and Spanish is required.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in a DME customer service role is a big plus but not required.
- Strong phone and interpersonal communication skills.
- Proficient in using cloud-based software and e-fax systems.
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- A strong commitment to providing exceptional customer service.
