Starting pay is $16.00; one year increase to $16.75. Annual increases after that.

Job Summary:
Prepare, season and cook a wide variety of food to consistently produce dishes that look and taste appealing, while remaining in compliance with all Clark County Health Department and OSHA rules and company policies and procedures as they pertain to the position.
Essential Job Functions:
· Cook ingredients according to recipes, using a variety of equipment, including pots, pans, cutlery, ovens, broilers, grills, slicers, grinders, and blenders
· Plan work on orders so that items served together are finished timely and at the same time
· Measure ingredients required for specific food items being prepared
· Verify that prepared food meets requirements for quality and quantity
· Cook the exact number of items ordered by each customer, working on several different orders simultaneously and to desired specifications of guests’ requests
· Clean food preparation areas, cooking surfaces, and utensils
· All other duties that may be assigned
Work Environment:
· Must be able to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays
· Must be able to work in close quarters or small rooms and occasionally be exposed to hot, cold, wet and/or humid condition
Job Requirements:
· Previous experience required; at least one year
· Must be able to work in a fast-paced, busy, environment and work under pressure and meet deadlines
· Working knowledge of weights, measurements and basic kitchen equipment
· Knowledge of proper cooling and storage temperatures and techniques required
· Knowledge of terminology and proper cooking techniques required
· Ability to determine proper cooking temperatures and quality of products by sight, smell, touch, and use of thermometers
· Ability to read, translate and execute recipes
· Must be able to work with speed and efficiency
· Must maintain valid Clark County Health Card
Physical Requirements:
· Must be able to stand for long periods of time
· Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
· Must be able to walk, bend, reach, and twist
· Must possess the physical ability to access all areas of the kitchen
