Job Title: Maintenance Manager
Job Type: Contract-to-Hire (contract, with conversion to full-time, permanent)
Location: Carrollton, TX 75006 (Onsite)
Pay: $50.00 per hour (≈ $104,000/year equivalent)

About the Role
RPC Company — a veteran- and minority-owned staffing firm — is conducting a confidential search for a
Maintenance Manager on behalf of an international manufacturer of flavor and specialty ingredients used in everyday consumer products across the U.S. and globally. This is an onsite role at a high-volume production facility in Carrollton, TX.
The Maintenance Manager leads plant reliability and maintenance operations, drives operational efficiency, and supports a high-performing production environment.
This position reports directly to the Plant Manager and is a key member of the site’s Operations Leadership Team.
Responsibilities
● Oversee day-to-day maintenance operations and lead the maintenance team
● Ensure maximum uptime of production assets through preventive and predictive maintenance programs
● Manage MRO/spare-parts inventory, permits, and vendor relationships
● Support plant upgrades, process improvements, and execution of capital projects to maximize output and unlock capacity
● Maintain facilities to occupational and food-safety standards
● Uphold GMP, food safety, and safe work practices across the site
Requirements
● Technical degree or certification in an Electrical or Mechanical field
● 10+ years of industrial maintenance experience, including 5+ years in a leadership role
● Strong background in MRO/parts inventory, permits, and preventive maintenance programs
● Experience with electrical, instrumentation, and control systems
● Comfortable working at heights and climbing stairs/ladders
● Proven ability to lead teams and drive continuous improvement initiatives
● Experience implementing new equipment or processes to increase productivity
● In-depth knowledge of GMP, food safety, and safe work practices
● Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach
Preferred Qualifications
● Process Safety Management (PSM)
● Six Sigma and/or Lean Manufacturing training
