Job Description:
A.M.P. Contracting LLC is seeking an experienced Ironworker/Welder on a temporary project 2-3 weeks . You will be responsible for erecting structures, welding and ensuring the integrity of steel frames, beams, and columns.
Duties Include:
- Erecting structural steel frames, bar joists, decking, stairs, and handrails
- Welding steel structures
- Erecting and bolting structural components using blueprints
- Operating forklifts, scissor lifts, and boom lifts to install steel columns, beams, and girders
- Unloading and stacking prefabricated steel
- Verifying vertical and horizontal alignment of steel structures
- Connecting columns, beams, and girders with bolts or by welding
- Using torches and welding equipment to cut, bend, and weld steel
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years experience as an Ironworker
- Minimum of 2 years experience as a structural welder
- Must have own transportation
- Welding Certified is a plus
