Essential Responsibilities
- Operate production, packaging, labeling, conveyor, robotic and palletizing equipment safely and efficiently
- Take ownership of the care, condition, cleanliness and performance of assigned machines
- Perform pre-operation, in-operation and post-operation equipment inspections and checklists
- Set up, verify and manage machine programs, recipes and parameters for different products, pack styles and production runs
- Able to communicate with vendor or manufacturer technical support as needed
- Accurately record end of day production report and complete required paperwork
- Collaborate with maintenance for any technical issues
- Follow SOP’s, GMP’s safety rules, food safety, quality standards/rules, sanitation rules, and good housekeeping procedures
- Other duties as assignedKnowledge/Skills/Abilities/Experience
- One-year experience in food safety or quality control in a fresh produce facility preferred.
