Dynamic long term care facility is currently seeking a Full-Time LVN Wellness Director at our facility in the Flower Mound, TX area. Must be able to lead and motivate staff to ensure exceptional services delivered to patients.
License and Skills Requirements:
- Licensed Vocational Nurse/Licensed Practical Nurse required
- Experience in working with individuals with dementia
- Long term care experience is required
- Flexibility to assist with on-call and/or coverage
- Lead, coach, and train staff
- Oversee care and medication delivery to patients
Primary Responsibilities:
- Oversee the safety and well-being of the patients
- Assist with rotational on-call and manager-on-duty responsibilities.
- Provide assistance and counseling to patients and families
- Maintain knowledge of state regulations, advance directives, POA/DPOA issues and other related topics.
