Children’s Place, Inc. is looking for a caring, dependable, and enthusiastic Pre-K Classroom Assistant (ECCAT) to join our Cabell County Universal Pre-K classroom.
We’re proud to be a Cabell County Collaborative and West Virginia Tier 2 Early Learning Program committed to providing high-quality early childhood education. As we continue to grow, we’re looking for someone who shares our passion for making a lasting difference in the lives of children and families.
What You’ll Do
As part of our Pre-K team, you’ll:
- Work alongside our Lead Teacher to create a fun, engaging, and developmentally appropriate classroom.
- Encourage children’s social, emotional, language, and cognitive development through hands-on learning.
- Help prepare classroom activities, learning centers, and educational materials.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming classroom environment.
- Supervise children during classroom activities, outdoor play, meals, and transitions.
- Build positive relationships with children, families, coworkers, and community partners.
- Follow all West Virginia Licensing, Universal Pre-K, and Children’s Place policies and procedures.

Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Must meet or be eligible to meet West Virginia ECCAT requirements; ACDS, CDA
- Must successfully complete all required background checks and health clearances.
