Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to serve as a Health Office Assistant Substitute within our district. This position is essential for supporting the daily operations of the health office, ensuring the well-being of students and staff. Responsibilities:
- Provide first aid and basic medical assistance to students and staff as needed.
- Assist in the administration of medications according to established guidelines.
- Maintain accurate health records and documentation for students, including immunization records and health screenings.
- Support the health office staff in managing daily operations, including answering phones, greeting visitors, and scheduling appointments.
- Monitor and maintain cleanliness and organization in the health office.
- Communicate effectively with parents, teachers, and administrators regarding student health concerns.
- Uphold confidentiality and adhere to district policies and procedures regarding student health information.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in health or medical fields is a plus.
- Previous experience in a health office, school setting, or medical environment preferred.
- Basic knowledge of first aid and CPR; certification is a plus.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact positively with students, staff, and parents.
- Ability to handle sensitive situations with discretion and professionalism.
