We are seeking a dynamic and energetic Part-time Server/Cashier to join our vibrant team. Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their visit
- Take food and beverage orders accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
- Process cash, credit card, and digital payments efficiently while ensuring proper cash handling procedures
- Assist with food preparation, bussing tables, and maintaining sanitation standards in line with food safety regulations
- Manage reservations and seating arrangements using OpenTable or similar reservation platforms
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and resolve any service issues promptly
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or hospitality environments is preferred, especially fine dining or nightclub settings
- Familiarity with POS systems including Aloha POS and Micros POS; experience with OpenTable is a plus
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and handle diverse needs
- Knowledge of food handling, sanitation, and food safety protocols
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during busy hours
- Basic math skills for cashiering and cash handling responsibilities
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and nights as needed
- Previous host/hostess or serving experience is advantageous but not required; enthusiasm for learning is essential
