We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Maintenance Leader to oversee all maintenance activities at our facility. In this role, you will ensure equipment reliability, optimize operational efficiency, and champion a safe working environment. Your leadership will be crucial in driving continuous improvement and supporting production goals through effective maintenance strategies and team management.
Responsibilities
- Direct and supervise the maintenance team, focusing on safety, planning, and skill development.
- Champion a culture of safety by actively promoting and participating in plant safety programs.
- Develop and implement maintenance programs that adhere to safety regulations, quality standards, and legal requirements, ensuring operational excellence.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement improvements that minimize downtime and maximize production output.
- Oversee preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance to enhance equipment performance and reduce overall maintenance expenses.
- Manage maintenance budgets effectively, identifying opportunities to optimize costs without compromising quality or safety.
- Provide expert technical support during equipment breakdowns, ensuring swift and safe restoration of operations.
- Manage inventory of critical spare parts to ensure maximum equipment uptime and efficient maintenance operations.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of supervisory experience in mechanical or electrical maintenance within a heavy industrial setting.
- Proven leadership abilities, with a focus on team building, organization, and interpersonal communication.
- In-depth knowledge of safety regulations, maintenance scheduling, and maintenance management systems.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and schematics.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Industrial Maintenance, or a related field.
- Exceptional analytical, communication, and motivational leadership skills.
- Familiarity with SAP and Microsoft Office applications.
- Experience with PLC Troubleshooting, Heavy Equipment Repair, and Electrical Systems Diagnostics.
