To schedule all non-emergency maintenance work and deliver/communicate the plan. In addition, provide all the necessary resources, parts, materials, tools, equipment, contractors to complete the work in a safe and efficient manner creating minimal downtime to production.
KEY RESPONSIBILITES:
· Creating the weekly Maintenance schedule based on the plant’s prioritization standards.
· Collaborating with the plant team to adjust schedules to accommodate urgent work and supporting the team to complete this work.
· Identifying the resource requirements for work orders and coordinating the availability of these work orders.
· Championing line shutdowns and plant shutdown schedules and plans.
· Management of spare parts including inventory and requisitioning.
· Revisions and additions to preventative maintenance routines
· Administration of the CMMS including the revisions and additions to users, suppliers, parts, assets, preventative maintenance plans, workflows and forms.
· The generation of reports based on KPI’s
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Education & Certificates
· Completion of College or University, preferably in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering
Technical Skills & Experience
· Advanced level at Microsoft Office applications and CMMS.
· Understanding of machine drawings for identifying parts and part numbers.
· Ability to use precision measurement tools such as a measuring tape, caliper, and micrometer.
· Understanding of core maintenance functions such as preventative maintenance structure, work order culture, route inspections and parts management.
· The candidate’s management style should be ~80% strategical (planning, scheduling, reporting and forward thinking) and ~20% tactical (acting with a sense of urgency for emergency work orders).
· Will need to possess skills to influence others, including upward, to effectively execute the maintenance schedules and plan
· Minimum three years experience with plastics in a manufacturing environment.
· Knowledge of the production process.

WORKING CONDITIONS:
· Employee may be exposed to a moderate level of hazards in the work environment, such as chemicals, commercial products, exposure to potential toxins, moving machinery, repetitive motion, excessive noise, powered industrial vehicle fork/reach/ bucket lift/other.
· Regular work indoors in corporate office environment with long periods of sitting and, also, periods of being on production floor and maintenance shop area.
· May on occasion be exposed to loud sounds and distracting noise levels.
· Employee may be required to perform a minimal level of specific tasks such as lifting up to 10 lbs, muscular action, body movements, working positions, posture changes, visual attentiveness).
· Employee will be required to wear protective eyewear, laboratory coat, appropriate gloves, hearing protection, respiratory protection, safety shoes, hard hat, and/or other.
· Employee may experience progressive degrees of factors in the work process which may cause mental tension or anxiety (changing work priorities, deadlines, accuracy, quotas, conflicting demands.
TRAVEL: Include percentage & scope. Ex. Employee will be required to travel 10% of the time. Employee may need to visit other IPEX locations
Pay: $38.00 - $42.00 per hour
