Hiring for the Following Roles:
Site Coordinator
The Site Coordinator is a part-time leadership role responsible for overseeing Extended Day and Out-of-School Time programming at an assigned school site. This includes managing daily program operations, supporting student engagement, coordinating schedules, and ensuring smooth delivery of after-school, break academy, and Saturday programming. The Site Coordinator serves as the on-site leader for program quality and communicates directly with families, school partners, and the Director of Program Operations. Math Mentors report directly to the Site Coordinator.
Math Mentor
Math Mentors are part-time instructional tutors who provide direct math intervention to scholars during Extended Day and Out-of-School Time programming. They deliver small group and individualized instruction, support student engagement, and implement lesson plans aligned to program goals. Math Mentors report to the Site Coordinator at their assigned location and are responsible for maintaining a positive, structured, and supportive learning environment.
Homework Café Mentor
The Extended Day Homework Café Mentor is a part-time role responsible for providing a structured, safe, and supportive Extended Day environment for Math N’ More scholars. This role ensures scholars are safe, have snack and complete homework, and are supervised in a calm, orderly setting until they are released to a parent or authorized guardian. Mentors may also lead an optional enrichment club of their choice in areas such as art, chess, soccer, basketball, or another scholar-interest activity.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Education, Mathematics, or related field preferred.
- 1-3 years of experience in tutoring or teaching math, preferably with K-12 students.
- Strong knowledge of math standards and ability to differentiate instruction.
- Effective communication and classroom management skills.
- Ability to engage and motivate students in a small group setting.
Compensation & Schedule
Site Coordinator: $27 to $32 per hour
Math Mentor (Math Tutor/Interventionist): $20 to $25 per hour
Homework Café Mentor (Homework Helper): $18 - $22 an hour
Typical schedules are Monday through Friday, approximately 3:00 PM to 6:30 PM, with hours varying by school site and program needs.
