Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant-Med Tech to join our team. This vital role combines nursing assistant responsibilities with medication administration and medical support, ensuring the highest quality of care for our residents. The ideal candidate will have experience in assisted living, nursing homes, or dementia settings, and possess a strong understanding of resident. We will provide free med tech training! Open positions include 7a - 3p and 3p - 11p every other weekend in both our traditional Personal Care and our dementia care wing.
Duties
- Provide direct patient care to residents, including assistance with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, mobility, and hygiene.
- Administer medications accurately following established protocols and document all medication activities.
- Monitor vital signs and observe residents for changes in condition, reporting findings promptly to nursing staff.
- Assist with specialized care needs including Alzheimer’s care, dementia care, memory care, and hospice support when required.
- Maintain detailed medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations and ensure proper documentation of resident care activities.
- Follow infection control procedures and safety guidelines to ensure a safe environment for residents and staff.
Requirements
- Valid certification as a Nursing Assistant (CNA) in Pennsylvania.
- Ability to complete Certification as a Med Tech (Medication Technician). Free training provided
- Prior experience working in assisted living facilities, demential units, or nursing homes preferred.
- Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and medication administration protocols.
- Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or cognitive impairments like Alzheimer’s disease is advantageous.

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
