We are seeking a Retail Sales Associate to assist customers and support daily retail operations. In this role, you will work directly with customers to provide product information, answer questions, and complete sales transactions.
This position is performed in person at a retail location and involves regular interaction with customers.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers and provide professional assistance in a retail setting
- Provide accurate information about products, pricing, and available services
- Assist customers with product selection and purchases
- Process transactions using the point-of-sale system
- Follow company procedures during all customer interactions
- Support team members to ensure efficient store operations
- Stay informed about current products and available promotions
Qualifications
- Previous retail, sales, or customer service experience preferred but not required
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Reliable attendance and punctuality
- Ability to work directly with customers in a retail environment
- Basic computer skills for processing transactions
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexible availability, including weekends
Compensation
$17–$24 per hour
Work Environment
This role is performed inside a retail location in the Salinas area. Employees will stand for extended periods and interact directly with customers throughout the shift.
Pay: $17.00 - $24.00 per hour
