On Da Spot Recovery is seeking a passionate, skilled, and professional Licensed Massage Therapist to join our growing recovery-focused wellness team. Our mission is simple: help people feel better, move better, and recover better—right on da spot.
In this role, you will provide high-quality, targeted spot therapy designed to help clients relieve tension, improve mobility, reduce muscle soreness, and support recovery. Our services are centered around convenient, effective 15-minute chair massage sessions, making recovery accessible to busy individuals in workplace, fitness, athletic, and community settings.
The ideal candidate is confident working with a wide variety of clients and understands how to deliver an effective massage in a short amount of time. You should be able to quickly assess a client's needs, identify areas of tension or discomfort, and provide focused treatment while creating a professional, welcoming, and positive experience.

Duties
- Provide professional, high-quality 15-minute chair massage sessions focused on relaxation, tension relief, mobility, and recovery.
- Quickly assess each client's needs and identify areas of muscle tension, soreness, or restricted mobility.
- Utilize appropriate massage techniques, including deep tissue, trigger point, sports massage, medical massage, and other therapeutic modalities within your scope of practice.
- Adapt each session to the client's individual needs, comfort level, and goals.
- Focus on common areas of tension such as the neck, shoulders, upper back, lower back, arms, and hips.
- Provide recovery-focused massage for individuals who are active, athletic, physically demanding jobs, or experiencing everyday muscle tension and soreness.
- Communicate professionally with clients before, during, and after each session to ensure comfort and satisfaction.
- Educate clients when appropriate on basic recovery strategies, mobility, stretching, and self-care.
- Maintain a clean, professional, and welcoming treatment environment.
- Follow all applicable health, safety, sanitation, and professional standards.
- Maintain appropriate client records and documentation as required.
- Represent On Da Spot Recovery in a professional and positive manner at events, workplaces, gyms, athletic facilities, and other partner locations.
- Work collaboratively with the On Da Spot Recovery team to create an exceptional client experience and help grow the brand.
- Stay current with massage therapy techniques, recovery practices, and continuing education opportunities.
Skills & Qualifications
- Current Licensed Massage Therapist (LMT) license in good standing and compliant with applicable state requirements.
- Strong hands-on massage therapy skills and knowledge of anatomy and physiology.
- Experience with therapeutic, sports, deep tissue, trigger point, or medical massage is highly valued.
- Ability to perform an effective, focused treatment within a 15-minute session.
- Strong understanding of muscle tension, mobility, recovery, and pain-management strategies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to quickly build trust and rapport with a diverse range of clients.
- Professional, reliable, energetic, and comfortable working in fast-paced environments.
- Strong customer-service mindset with a genuine passion for helping people feel their best.
- Ability to work independently while representing the On Da Spot Recovery brand.
- CPR certification is preferred or required based on the specific work location and applicable regulations.
- Additional experience or certifications in sports massage, medical massage, occupational wellness, fitness, athletic recovery, or corporate wellness are a plus.
