Sentri Homes is a nationwide residential construction company looking for skilled laborers to help complete our projects. We work with contractors on a project-by-project basis, and crews who consistently do great work become our go-to team for recurring jobs across the country.
SCOPE OF WORK
- Tear out and dispose of existing carpet, padding, tack strips, and staples from all upstairs areas and staircase
- Tear out existing tile flooring in master bathroom
- Inspect and prep existing plywood subfloor; secure loose areas; standard floor prep prior to install
- Install homeowner-supplied Pergo TimberCraft laminate — approx. 820 sq ft total (734 sq ft living areas + 86 sq ft stairway) across master bedroom, 2 bedrooms, hallway, landing, master bath, and all closets
- Staircase install — 13 steps plus top and bottom landings; treads, risers, and stair nosing required
- Remove and reinstall existing baseboards; supply and install quarter round; fill nail holes and apply paintable caulk
- Remove and reset one toilet with new wax ring; verify proper operation
- Install required transition strips and manufacturer-recommended expansion spacing
- Light furniture moving; debris removal, vacuum, and final walkthrough with homeowner
JOB DETAILS
- Job site is in North Augusta, SC (29841) — approx. 15 minutes from downtown Augusta. Exact address provided once contracted.
- Target start: early-to-mid August. Estimated duration 4–6 working days.
- Labor only — homeowner supplies all flooring material. No material procurement required.
- Second-floor work over plywood subfloor. No appliances to move; no exterior work.
- Excluded from scope: major floor leveling, structural/subfloor replacement, painting or staining, plumbing beyond the toilet reset.

REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum 2+ years of trade experience
- Must have tools necessary to complete the job
- Must have reliable transportation and a disposal method for all trash and debris
- Take before, during, and after photos
- Must be experienced with stair installation (treads, risers, nosing) — please do not apply if you only do open-floor installs
- Valid certificate of insurance (general liability) required prior to start
Pay: $3,000.00 per day
