CPA & Wealth Management Firm
We are seeking an experienced, organized, and dependable Full-Charge Bookkeeper to join our growing team. We are a small, locally owned CPA and Wealth Management office that takes pride in providing exceptional client service in a welcoming, relationship-focused environment.

As our Full-Charge Bookkeeper, you’ll work with a variety of business clients and be responsible for maintaining accurate books, processing payroll, preparing required filings, and helping ensure their accounting records are complete and up to date. We are looking for someone who understands the accounting behind the transactions and can work independently while managing multiple clients and deadlines.
Core Responsibilities
- Provide full-charge bookkeeping services for multiple business clients.
- Work with QuickBooks Online, QuickBooks Desktop, and QuickBooks Enterprise.
- Perform bank and credit card reconciliations and research discrepancies.
- Review general ledger accounts and make necessary adjustments.
- Prepare and post journal entries.
- Maintain fixed asset schedules and record depreciation.
- Process client payroll accurately and on time.
- Prepare and file quarterly and annual payroll tax reports and Forms W-2/W-3.
- Prepare and file year-end Forms 1099 and 1096.
- Prepare and file sales tax returns and required sales tax prepayments.
- Assist clients with workers’ compensation audits.
- Prepare and file California Form 571-L Business Property Statements.
- Maintain supporting schedules and organized accounting records.
- Communicate directly with clients to obtain information, resolve bookkeeping questions, and keep records current.
Skills & Experience
- Minimum 3-5 years of full-charge bookkeeping experience required.
- Prior experience in a CPA firm or public accounting environment is strongly preferred.
- Strong working knowledge of QuickBooks Online, QuickBooks Desktop, and QuickBooks Enterprise.
- Experience processing payroll and preparing quarterly payroll tax reports.
- Experience preparing sales tax returns and prepayments.
- Strong understanding of general ledger accounting, including debits and credits, journal entries, reconciliations, and adjusting entries.
- Experience with fixed assets and depreciation.
- Ability to identify discrepancies and independently research and correct accounting issues.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple clients, priorities, and deadlines.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Professionalism and discretion when handling confidential financial and payroll information.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Schedule, Pay, and Benefits
- Full-time, in-office position.
- Hours: Monday-Thursday 8am-5:30pm and Friday 8am-12pm
- Some additional hours may be required during tax season.
- Starting pay: Based on experience.

Pay: $30.00 - $33.00 per hour
