Salary: $95,000 - $125,000+ (Experience Dependent)
A well-established and respected commercial mechanical contractor is seeking a Commercial HVAC Project Manager to oversee HVAC construction projects throughout the Dallas-Fort Worth market.
Experienced HVAC Assistant Project Managers and Project Engineers who are ready to advance into a Project Management role are encouraged to apply.
This position is ideal for professionals with a strong background in commercial HVAC construction who can manage projects from turnover through closeout while maintaining budgets, schedules, procurement activities, and client relationships.

Position Overview
The Project Manager will be responsible for the successful execution of commercial HVAC construction projects ranging from approximately $200K to $10M+.
Projects may include:

HVAC equipment installations
-
Sheet metal and ductwork systems
-
Air distribution systems
-
Hydronic piping systems
-
Refrigerant piping
-
Controls coordination
-
Equipment startup
-
TAB (Testing, Adjusting & Balancing)
-
Commissioning support
-
Punch list and project closeout activities
Candidates with experience in either air-side or water-side systems will be considered. Experience with both is preferred.
Key Responsibilities
-
Manage commercial HVAC projects from turnover through completion
-
Review contract documents, plans, specifications, and project requirements
-
Develop and maintain project budgets, forecasts, and schedules
-
Oversee equipment and material procurement
-
Manage subcontractors, vendors, and supplier relationships
-
Track project costs and maintain profitability goals
-
Process RFIs, change orders, and project documentation
-
Coordinate activities with owners, general contractors, consultants, and field teams
-
Monitor project progress and proactively identify risks
-
Manage billing, schedule of values, and financial reporting
-
Oversee equipment startup, commissioning, punch lists, and closeout requirements

Maintain accurate project records and documentation
Required Qualifications
Project Manager Candidates

Commercial HVAC construction project management experience with a mechanical contractor
-
Experience managing commercial mechanical projects through completion
-
Knowledge of procurement, cost control, budgeting, scheduling, change orders, and project closeout

Experience managing multiple projects or large-scale mechanical construction projects
Assistant PM / Project Engineer Candidates

Minimum 5 years of commercial HVAC construction experience

Experience with Bluebeam, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft Office

Construction Management, Engineering, or related technical education preferred
