- Perform a variety of massage techniques including deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, and relaxation massage tailored to individual client needs
- Conduct thorough patient assessments to understand their health history, current concerns, and treatment goals
- Educate clients on self-care practices and recommend appropriate therapies for ongoing wellness
- Maintain detailed treatment records, documenting procedures, client responses, and progress notes with accuracy
- Ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming environment by adhering to sanitation standards and clinic protocols
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop comprehensive pain management plans when necessary
- Stay current with industry best practices, new techniques, and continuing education requirements to enhance your skills
Skills
- Strong patient service orientation with excellent communication skills
- Knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology relevant to massage therapy and pain management
- Experience with occupational health practices and med spa treatments is highly desirable
- Proficiency in patient assessment to customize treatment plans effectively
- Expertise in deep tissue massage and trigger point therapy techniques for targeted relief
- Ability to educate clients on health benefits of massage therapy and self-care strategies
- Demonstrated customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor
