Join our dynamic team as a 1099 Independent Contractor specializing in TV installations, STARLINK internet setups, and smart home device integrations. This full-time opportunity is perfect for motivated professionals who own their own van or truck and are eager to deliver exceptional service directly to customers’ homes and businesses. Responsibilities
- Residential TV and audio installations for national partner of ours.
- Install, troubleshoot, and maintain satellite internet systems such as STARLINK, ensuring optimal performance and customer satisfaction
- Set up and configure smart home devices including security cameras, thermostats, doorbells, and automation hubs in accordance with manufacturer specifications
- Use hand tools and cabling techniques to run low voltage wiring for telecommunication and electrical systems within residential or commercial settings
- Conduct software troubleshooting on telecommunication devices, computer hardware, and integrated smart home systems to resolve issues efficiently
- Perform routine maintenance checks on installed equipment to ensure long-term functionality and safety standards are met
- Document and upload photos of all work performed with detailed reports, including system configurations, troubleshooting steps, and customer instructions
Requirements
- Proven experience with electrical systems, telecommunication wiring, low voltage cabling, or related field service roles
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to use hand tools effectively for installation and maintenance tasks
- Knowledge of software troubleshooting procedures for connected devices and computer hardware components
- Valid driver’s license with reliable transportation (van or truck) for daily job assignments
- Excellent problem-solving skills combined with proactive communication abilities
- Prior experience working with E & I (Electrical & Instrumentation), low voltage systems, or telecommunication infrastructure is highly desirable
