Job Summary:
The Assistant Housekeeper directs and performs the daily operations of the housekeeping department in a professional and positive manner. Must be able to work flexible days, hours, and holidays.
Essential Duties and Functions/ Responsibilities/Tasks
Direct, coach and mentor employees. Encourage team-work . Manage the daily operations of the housekeeping department. Supervise and inspect guest rooms cleanliness, public spaces, meeting rooms and exterior of the hotel.
Order cleaning and guest supplies.
Respond to guest requests and telephone calls.
Work closely with other department managers.
Skills required
Experience as a room cleaner, housekeeping supervisor,and or manager.
Ability to communicate effectively in Spanish and English.
Must have professional customer service and computer skills.
