Overview
We are seeking a reliable and skilled Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently while adhering to all safety regulations. This role requires a strong commitment to customer service and the ability to manage various driving tasks, including operating different types of trucks and handling loading and unloading duties.
Duties
- Operate tractor-trailer trucks for the delivery of goods to various locations.
- Actively just Drop & Hook duties.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation as required.
- Navigate routes efficiently while adhering to traffic laws and company policies.
- Operate forklifts as needed for loading/unloading tasks.
- Drive manual transmission vehicles when required, demonstrating proficiency in handling various truck types including dump trucks.
Requirements
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with a clean driving record.
- Dedicated to Work Weekdays
- 2- Years Proven experience in truck driving, particularly with tractor-trailer configurations.
- Strong understanding of load securing techniques and safety protocols.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to meet delivery schedules consistently.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, demonstrating effective communication skills.
- Physical stamina to handle long hours on the road, including lifting heavy loads when necessary.
