Pay: $16.00/hour
Schedule: Afternoons, Nights & Some Weekends
Work Environment: Industrial
Performs routine manual tasks to maintain the cleanliness, sanitary conditions, and appearance of company buildings and surrounding areas.
- Operate various types of equipment, including forklifts, skid steers, industrial sweepers, and other equipment in an industrial environment.
- Clean bathrooms, offices, and other assigned areas by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, and polishing.
- Restock restrooms, lunchrooms, and break areas.
- Collect and remove trash to appropriate disposal areas.
- Dust furniture, fixtures, and other assigned areas.
- Mix or blend routine cleaning solutions to proper concentrations as needed.
- Clean and wax floors using industrial-size mops and/or machines.
- Wash windows and walls using prescribed cleaning solutions.
- Report minor building or equipment repair needs to the supervisor.
- Report safety hazards to the supervisor.
- Clean and clear entranceways and areas outside of buildings.
- Spread snow and ice-melting agents and broom/squeegee snow as directed.
- Maintain all required safety procedures.
- Perform other duties as assigned. The company reserves the right to add or change duties at any time.
