Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and compassionate Clinical Supervisor/Licensed Counselor to lead our mental health and behavioral services team. This role involves providing expert clinical supervision, delivering high-quality patient care, and ensuring compliance with healthcare standards. Responsibilities
- Provide clinical supervision to licensed and unlicensed staff, fostering professional growth and ensuring adherence to best practices in mental health care.
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including diagnostic evaluations using ICD-10 coding standards, to develop individualized treatment plans.
- Deliver a range of therapeutic services such as individual counseling, group therapy, family counseling, and behavioral therapy tailored to client needs.
- Utilize evidence-based techniques including motivational interviewing, cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), applied behavior analysis (ABA), and crisis intervention strategies to support clients effectively.
- Manage crisis situations with prompt crisis management responses, ensuring safety and stabilization for clients experiencing acute mental health or behavioral crises.
- Maintain accurate medical documentation within Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems while complying with HIPAA regulations to protect patient confidentiality.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for case management, treatment planning, and coordination of home & community care services.
- Participate in clinical research activities and data collection efforts aimed at improving service quality and client outcomes.
Requirements
- Valid licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or equivalent credential in your state.
- Proven experience supervising clinical staff within behavioral health or mental health settings.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology, ICD coding (ICD-10), CPT coding, and medical documentation standards.
- Demonstrated expertise in working with children, adolescents, individuals with developmental disabilities, neurodevelopmental disorders such as autism spectrum disorder (ASD), and co-occurring disorders including substance use conditions.
- Proficiency in therapeutic modalities such as motivational interviewing, CBT, behavioral therapy, social work practices, and crisis intervention techniques.
- Experience utilizing EMR/EHR systems for documentation and patient record management while maintaining HIPAA compliance.
- Excellent communication skills for engaging clients’ families and collaborating with community resources effectively.
- Ability to handle crisis situations efficiently through crisis management protocols while maintaining a calm demeanor under pressure.

Pay: $65,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
