Primary Function:
The Conventional Merchandiser is responsible for stocking, rotating, and maintaining company merchandise in retail accounts to ensure product availability, display standards, and customer satisfaction.
Market Assignment:
This position serves the Central Market, which encompasses, but is not limited to, Durham, Southpoint, and Morrisville.
Key Responsibilities

Stock, rotate, clean, and maintain product on shelves, coolers, fast lanes, and promotional displays according to company standards.

Arrange merchandise to maximize visual appeal and sales performance.

Organize backroom inventory as needed and maintain safe, clean work environments.

Ensure proper accounting of product and assets.

Provide professional customer service and maintain positive relationships with account personnel.

Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required.

Valid North Carolina driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Must be at least 18 years of age with a strong driving record.

Minimum six (6) months of experience in stocking, route delivery, merchandising, or retail preferred.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with availability for occasional weekends and some holidays

Ability to lift up to 60 pounds, lift up to 30 pounds overhead, push and pull product frequently, and perform frequent bending, kneeling, and stooping.

Ability to stand and/or walk for up to eight (8) hours per day.

Demonstrated dependability, integrity, initiative, attention to detail, and strong customer service skills.

Ability to pass required background checks, Motor Vehicle Report review, and company drug testing requirements.
