We are a small, fast-growing biotechnology company in Seattle with three oncology programs (late Phase 1 lymphoma, early Phase 1 hematologic/solid tumors, and preclinical immuno-oncology program) seeking a Senior Medical Director to help drive our clinical development efforts.
About the role
You will have end-to-end medical responsibility for our clinical programs, from protocol design and safety monitoring through data interpretation and next-step recommendations, with strong mentorship from experienced clinical development and executive leaders.
This role is ideal for an accomplished Medical Director who wants broad clinical responsibility in a small, highly collaborative environment.
What you'll do

- Provide medical leadership for an early Phase 1 program with potential applications in hematologic malignancies and solid tumors.
- Contribute to IND strategy and early clinical planning for an innovative preclinical immuno-oncology program.
- Draft and review protocols, IBs, ICFs, and clinical study reports; contribute to regulatory filings and responses.
- Review all safety findings and serve as a key member of internal safety and clinical review meetings.
- Collaborate closely with CRO, internal and external subject matter experts, and senior leadership to ensure high-quality trial execution.
- Engage with investigators and key opinion leaders to support site selection, study conduct, and refine clinical strategy.
What we're looking for
- MD (or equivalent) with fellowship training in adult or pediatric oncology or hematology-oncology.
- At least 3 years of experience in biotech or pharma oncology drug development; immune-oncology and lymphoma experience preferred.
- Hands-on experience with early-phase clinical trials (Phase 1/2); exposure to registrational trial design and execution preferred.
- Strong communication skills, experience presenting data and plans to leadership teams and external partners.
- Enjoys working in a fast-paced, collaborative small-company setting.
- Based in the Seattle area (or willing to relocate) and able to be in the office at least 3 days per week.
What we offer
- Broad responsibility across three oncology programs at different stages of development.
- Close collaboration with an experienced, supportive leadership team invested in your growth.
- Competitive compensation, equity, and benefits in a mission-driven company focused on improving outcomes for patients with cancer.
