We are looking for an experienced Activity Director. The Activity Director is responsible for planning, organizing, and implementing resident recreational programs on an individualized and group basis.
Responsibilities of the Activity Director:
- Develop a weekly and monthly activity schedule
- Coordinate the calendar with staff.
- Seek vendors for outside entertainment bookings.
- Schedule games and other in-house activities.
- Promote participation during each event.
Qualifications of the Activity Director:
- High School Graduate
- Activity Certification Course and/or other related Professional Certification
- Prefer knowledge of State and Federal Regulations related to Activity Requirements
- 1 Year of activities manager/director experience
- Demonstrate competence in management and leadership skills
- Must be able to understand the English language and communicate effectively with resident family members, residents, and staff
