Atami Steak and Sushi
Atami Steak and Sushi in Katy is growing, and we are looking for friendly, dependable, and hardworking team members to join our restaurant family. We are currently hiring Hosts/Hostesses and Servers who are passionate about customer service and creating a great dining experience for every guest.
We are especially seeking experienced servers who can thrive in a fast-paced restaurant environment, but we are also willing to train the right candidate with a positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn.
Responsibilities Include:
- Greeting and welcoming guests with professionalism and energy
- Managing seating, waitlists, reservations, and guest flow
- Taking food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently
- Providing attentive and friendly customer service
- Maintaining knowledge of menu items, sushi offerings, and specials
- Communicating effectively with kitchen staff and team members
- Keeping work areas clean, organized, and guest-ready
- Helping create a positive and team-focused work environment
Qualifications:
- Previous restaurant or serving experience preferred
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to multitask and work well under pressure
- Positive attitude and team-player mentality
- Reliable, punctual, and professional
- Availability for evenings and weekends preferred
- Servers must have a current TABC Certification and Food Handler/ServSafe Certification or provide proof of certification within one week of employment.
