POSITION DESCRIPTION SUMMARY: The Control Engineer plays a crucial role in the design, development, and implementation of control systems for various projects. This position requires a strong foundation in electrical engineering principles, system design, and proficiency in various engineering software tools. The Controls Engineer will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that projects meet technical specifications and performance standards.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Design and develop control systems for automation projects, ensuring reliability and efficiency.
- Utilize EPlan and Draftsight for creating detailed schematics and layouts.
- Implement firmware solutions for embedded systems, focusing on signal processing and system integration.
- Conduct testing and troubleshooting of control systems to ensure optimal performance.
- Participate in project planning meetings to provide technical insights and updates on progress.
- Document all design processes, test results, and system specifications for future reference.
· Performs other related duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Familiarity with Siemens/Beckhoff platforms for prototyping control systems is preferred.
- Strong understanding of system design principles and signal processing techniques.
- Preferred experience using EPlan and Draftsight software for engineering designs.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while managing individual responsibilities effectively.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
JOB SPECIFICATIONS:
- MINIMUM EDUCATION: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field. Related experience preferred.
Pay: $90,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
