American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a high-acuity Cath Lab/EP position requiring interventional scrub experience, Level 1 trauma background, and a valid MO or compact RN license.

Short-term acute care hospital setting in a high-volume, high-acuity Cath Lab/EP unit
-
1:1 patient ratio
-
Patient population includes AMI, chest pain, heart failure, NSTEMI, aortic stenosis, V-tach, endocarditis, A-fib, peripheral vascular disease, and sick sinus syndrome

RN Circulator role working in a diagnostic and interventional PCI environment

Specialized equipment includes Impella and IABP
-
Epic EMR used for documentation; experience required
-
Schedule is 4x10-hour shifts with rotating start times: 0700–1730 (standard), 0700–1730 (late), and 1000–2030 (close) as needed
-
Every other weekend required
-
Rotating on-call required, including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays — subject to change based on unit needs

Floating within the service line required to meet facility needs

Block scheduling is not available

Navy scrubs required

Active MO RN license or compact RN license currently in hand required at time of consideration

Current certifications: BLS and ACLS

Minimum 2 years of Cath Lab RN experience required

Level 1 trauma facility experience required
-
High-volume, high-acuity Cath Lab experience required
-
Interventional scrub experience required
-
Epic EMR experience required

Responsibilities include providing conscious sedation under attending direction, handing off sterile supplies, assessing vitals, and documenting in Epic
-
Will likely cross-train to run hemodynamics in a monitor tech role

Candidates must reside more than 75 miles from the facility to be eligible; local candidates are not accepted

RTO is limited to no more than 7 days per 13-week contract; no RTO is permitted during the first week of orientation

Former permanent employees must wait 1 year before returning to any facility in this health system as a traveler

Travelers may remain for up to 18 months, after which a 3-month break in service is required before returning
