Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Automotive Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing a variety of automotive repair and maintenance tasks, ensuring vehicles are safe, reliable, and operating efficiently. Duties
- Conduct routine maintenance services such as oil changes and brake inspections.
- Perform suspension work and other repairs to ensure vehicle stability and safety.
- Carry out timing belt services and replacements as needed.
- Diagnose automotive issues accurately using diagnostic tools and techniques.
- Repair or replace faulty components to restore vehicle performance.
- Maintain detailed records of all repairs and services performed.
- Ensure all work complies with safety standards and manufacturer specifications.
Skills
- Proven experience in automotive repair and maintenance.
- Ability to perform oil changes, brake repairs, suspension work, and timing belt services effectively.
- Strong diagnostic skills with the ability to identify issues promptly; experience with vehicle diagnostics is a plus.
- Knowledge of automotive systems, tools, and repair techniques.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Good communication skills to explain repairs and maintenance procedures clearly.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a busy shop environment.
