About the Role

You'll play a key role in supporting employee development, leadership growth, and training programs that help our people—and our business—succeed.
As our Training Program Coordinator, you'll help manage the day-to-day operations that keep our learning programs running smoothly. From coordinating schedules and communicating with participants to maintaining learning records and supporting training technology, you'll help create a seamless experience for employees across the organization.
You'll also have opportunities to contribute to employee engagement initiatives, internal communications, onboarding experiences, and special projects that strengthen our culture and support a positive employee experience.
What You'll Do
Training Program Coordination
- Coordinate training schedules, registrations, participant communications, attendance tracking, and overall program logistics.
- Support onboarding, professional development, leadership development, and other employee learning initiatives.
- Maintain training calendars, learning records, certifications, reports, and training documentation.
- Assist with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and other learning technologies, ensuring accurate records and a seamless learner experience.
- Partner with facilitators, managers, and cross-functional teams to ensure training programs are organized, engaging, and delivered successfully.
- Prepare training presentations, participant materials, digital resources, and other program support materials.
- Support training programs from planning through completion but is not responsible for designing curriculum or serving as the primary facilitator.
Employee Engagement & Communications
- Create internal communications that support training programs, employee development, and company initiatives.
- Assist with employee recognition, onboarding experiences, company events, newsletters, presentations, and engagement activities.
- Capture and share employee stories, training highlights, and moments that celebrate HFA's people and culture.
- Collaborate across departments to strengthen the employee experience and support HFA's culture of learning and continuous growth.

Experience & Technical Skills
- Comfortable learning and using a variety of technology platforms to support training, communication, and collaboration.
- Experience with Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Teams, Microsoft Office Suite, Canva, SharePoint, Learning Management Systems (LMS), Microsoft Forms, Mentimeter, or similar platforms is preferred.
- Demonstrates confidence in adopting new technology and troubleshooting basic technical issues independently.
Qualifications
Required
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- One to three years of experience in Learning & Development, Human Resources, training operations, program coordination, project coordination, administrative support, employee engagement, communications, or a related field.
- Strong organizational, communication, and time management skills.
Preferred
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Education, Business Administration, Communications, Marketing, or a related field.
- Experience supporting employee training, onboarding, leadership development, or company-wide learning initiatives.
- Experience working with Learning Management Systems (LMS), training records, or program reporting.
