Duties
- Prepare pizza dough, sauces, toppings, and other ingredients with precision and care
- Use knife skills to slice vegetables, meats, and cheeses efficiently and safely
- Assemble pizzas according to recipes and customer specifications, ensuring consistency and presentation
- Operate pizza ovens and other kitchen equipment to bake pizzas to perfection
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work station in compliance with food safety standards
- Handle food responsibly by following proper food handling procedures during meal preparation
- Assist with other food preparation tasks such as catering orders or special menu items when needed
Requirements
- Prior experience in cooking, food preparation, or a restaurant environment is preferred but not mandatory; enthusiasm for learning is key
- Strong knife skills and familiarity with basic culinary techniques
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper food handling practices
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen setting while maintaining attention to detail
