American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Medical ICU position at a Level 1 trauma facility, requiring Epic experience and ACLS certification.

Work in a 28-bed MICU split across two units (16 beds on MICU3 and 12 beds on MICU4) within an academic medical center
-
Patient population consists predominantly of multi-system failure with co-morbid conditions; common diagnoses include sepsis, pneumonia, GI bleed, and organ failure

Nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:2

Day shift schedule, 4x12-hour shifts (7:00–19:30), with the option to work 36 or 48 hours per week

Every other weekend required

Every other holiday required

Floating required per facility float policy

13-week contract
-
Active VA or Compact RN license required; pending license will be accepted

Current BLS and ACLS certifications required

Level 1 trauma center experience required

Epic EMR experience required

Two professional references required for consideration

Driver's license and Social Security card required for consideration

No radius rule — local candidates are welcome to apply

Up to 40 hours of RTO available per 13-week contract; back-to-back weekends off cannot be approved

Time off around Labor Day cannot be approved
