The Practice
Garth Animal Hospital is an independently owned small animal and exotics practice in Baytown, Texas. We have grown rapidly on the strength of a strong community reputation, five-star patient reviews, and a Fear-Free culture that runs through every aspect of how we operate.
We are bringing on our third and final associate to complete the team. If you want to practice high-quality medicine without pressure, rushed appointments, or overnight call, this is worth a conversation.
The Role
You will carry a varied caseload that includes wellness and preventative care, sick patient diagnostics and treatment, dentistry, soft tissue surgery including spays and neuters, internal medicine, and client communication and case follow-up. You will have the autonomy to practice the way you were trained to, with a collaborative support team behind you.
The Schedule
We offer genuine flexibility:
- Four-day workweek (full-time)
- Three-day workweek available for the right candidate
- Part-time arrangements considered
- No on-call, no overnight shifts
The Compensation and Benefits
- Base salary: $120,000 to $180,000+ commensurate with experience, with production bonus opportunity on top

What We Are Looking For
- A doctor who is committed to low-stress, patient-centered care. Fear-Free certification is a plus but not required
- Respect for technicians, assistants, and support staff, with a team-first mindset
- Eligibility for Texas licensure
