Job Overview
We’re hiring a skilled Remote Service Technician with hands-on experience troubleshooting, repairing, and installing food processing equipment, primarily in the meat processing industry. This is a travel-based role out of our Gainesville GA office, supporting customers throughout the Southeastern U.S. and beyond. Your proactive approach and technical expertise will help us maintain our reputation for outstanding customer service and reliable product performance.
What You’ll Do:
- Troubleshoot, install and repair industrial meat grinding, seperating, deboning and other processing equipment
- Perform preventative maintenance
- Provide on-site technical support to customers
What You Bring:
- Experience with food or meat processing equipment preferred
- Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
- Ability to read schematics and technical manuals
- Self-motivated and able to work independently
- Bilingual English/Spanish communication skills are a plus
Requirements:
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Must meet DOT driver qualification requirements (non-CDL)
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Willing to travel frequently and extensively with little notice (overnights, weekends, holidays)
- Comfortable working in industrial food processing environments
