Job Summary:
Edu-Aids is seeking a dedicated and passionate Teacher of Deaf to join our team in MA. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to fostering an inclusive learning environment that meets the diverse needs of students with disabilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide specialized instruction to students who are deaf or hard of hearing
- Utilize fluent American Sign Language (ASL) for communication and instruction.
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Collaborate with school staff, service providers, and families to support student success
- Foster an inclusive, structured, and supportive learning environment
Qualifications:
- Valid Massachusetts certification/licensure as required by MA state law
- Fluency in American Sign Language (ASL) required
- Previous school-based experience preferred
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
