American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a PCU/Telemetry position requiring Level I trauma facility experience and a valid KY or compact RN license.

Progressive Care Unit (PCU) within a hospital setting
-
Med/Surg patient population
-
Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts (19:00–07:30)
-
Every other weekend required
-
Floating required to other universal/progressive care areas within the health system

Active KY or compact RN license, in hand at time of consideration — no licensure hits accepted

Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS

Minimum 2 years of experience at a Level I trauma facility

Experience required in progressive care (PC), acute care (AC), telemetry, and med/surg
-
2 supervisor references from within the last 3 years of employment required for consideration

Candidates whose permanent residence is within 100 miles of the facility are not eligible for this position

Former permanent staff must have been separated from the facility for at least 6 months before being eligible to return as a traveler

All requested time off (RTO) must be disclosed at the time of consideration — RTO requests made after submission will not be approved
