Job Summary

Responsibilities
- Prepare a variety of sushi, sashimi, and other Japanese dishes with precision and artistry.
- Maintain strict adherence to food safety and sanitation standards at all times.
- Select fresh ingredients and manage inventory to ensure quality and efficiency.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate meal preparation and presentation.
- Develop new sushi recipes and refine existing menu items to delight guests.
- Educate team members on proper sushi techniques and presentation standards.
- Ensure timely delivery of orders while maintaining consistency in taste and appearance.
Experience
- Proven experience as a Sushi Chef or similar culinary role specializing in Japanese cuisine.
- Strong knowledge of sushi preparation techniques, knife skills, and ingredient handling.
- Experience with menu development, recipe creation, and plating artistry.
- Familiarity with food safety regulations and sanitation practices in a professional kitchen.
- Ability to work efficiently in a high-pressure environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Previous experience working with diverse teams and managing kitchen operations is preferred.
