In Nursing Support Services at Main Campus McWane Building
Work schedule will be Full-time on the Day Evening Shift, Varies.
Summary:
Coordinates the intake and placement of all admissions and intra-unit transfers in accordance with the Children’s of Alabama House Coordinator Guidelines and Admission Policy. Collaborates with physician and nursing staff to prioritize admissions and intra-unit transfers based on medical needs. Communicates and collaborates with all departments as appropriate to maximize efficiency of bed utilization and expedite the throughput process. Serves as a designated leadership representative accountable and responsible for coordinating provision of efficient patient care operations on their assigned shifts.

Credentials with Equivalent Qualifications:
Essential:
- Registered Nurse AL Single State or any of the following equivalent qualifications below:
- Registered Nurse AL NLC Multi State
- Registered Nurse Non-AL NLC Multi State
- Basic Life Support
Education with Equivalent Qualifications:
Essential:
- High School Diploma Graduate or Equivalent
- Associate of Science Nursing in Nursing
Nonessential:
- Bachelor of Science Nursing in Nursing
Experience with Equivalent Qualifications:
Schedule: Varies, Day-Evening Shift, 12-Hour Shifts
