We are seeking a caring, dependable, and enthusiastic Part-Time Pre-K Teacher with at least 1 year of experienceworking with young children. The ideal candidate is passionate about early childhood education, committed to providing a safe and nurturing learning environment, and dedicated to helping preschool-aged children learn and grow through engaging, developmentally appropriate activities.
Responsibilities
- Provide a safe, secure, and nurturing environment for all children.
- Plan and implement age-appropriate lessons and activities that support cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development.
- Engage children in interactive learning experiences that foster creativity, independence, and confidence.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming classroom.
- Supervise children at all times while ensuring compliance with all health and safety regulations.
- Build positive relationships with children, families, and fellow team members.
- Communicate professionally with parents regarding children's progress, daily activities, and developmental milestones.
- Observe and document children's learning and development.
- Collaborate with teachers and staff to support classroom and school-wide programs.
- Assist in other classrooms as needed to maintain quality care throughout the school.
- Attend staff meetings, training sessions, and professional development opportunities.
- Drive the school mini bus when required.
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of preschool or early childhood teaching experience.
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field preferred.
- Strong understanding of child development and developmentally appropriate practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
- Passion for creating a positive and engaging learning experience for young children.
- Strong organizational and classroom management skills.
- Must be at least 25 years old to drive the school mini bus.
Pay: $13.00 - $16.00 per hour
