Job Summary
Dox Electronics, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Advanced Registered Practitioner to join our growing cybersecurity and compliance team. This role is responsible for evaluating organizational readiness for cybersecurity audits and compliance assessments, identifying information security risks, and providing strategic recommendations to help clients achieve and maintain compliance with government and industry standards.
The ideal candidate will have experience assessing organizations against cybersecurity frameworks and regulations, including CMMC, NIST 800-171, DFARS and FedRAMP industry requirements. As a trusted advisor, you will work directly with clients across a variety of industries, helping them strengthen their cybersecurity posture and prepare for formal assessments.

Assessment & Compliance Activities
- Participate in cybersecurity and compliance assessments to evaluate an organization's readiness for CMMC certification and related regulatory requirements.
- Assess the implementation and effectiveness of security controls against applicable frameworks and standards.
- Conduct interviews, review documentation, and analyze technical implementations to determine compliance status.
Client & Team Collaboration
- Work collaboratively with assessment teams to ensure consistent and accurate evaluation of client environments.
- Communicate effectively with clients, stakeholders, and internal team members regarding assessment progress, findings, and recommendations.
- Provide guidance and recommendations that balance security requirements with organizational objectives and operational needs.
- Build trusted relationships with clients through professionalism, expertise, and exceptional customer service.
Required Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university, preferably in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related technical field.
- Preferred Certifications: CCP, CCA, CISSP, Security+, CISA, CISM, or CAP.
Technical Knowledge & Experience
- Demonstrated understanding of: NIST 800-171, CMMC, FedRAMP, DFARS, and other federal cybersecurity regulations and industry standards.
- Working knowledge of information technology infrastructure, cybersecurity controls, and compliance requirements.
- Experience developing reports and documentation that clearly communicate assessment findings.
- Understanding of IT infrastructure components, security controls, and supporting technologies.
- Familiarity with common IT and cybersecurity terminology, acronyms, and operational concepts.

- Must be a U.S. Citizen.
- Must successfully pass an extensive background investigation.
- Proof of U.S. citizenship and eligibility to work in the United States must be provided immediately upon hire.
- Failure to provide required employment eligibility documentation may result in termination of employment until documentation is furnished.
- Proficiency with Microsoft 365 applications.
- Ability to work in office or remotely while maintaining productivity, professionalism, and effective communication.
- Must be willing to travel to client sites as required.
