The Housing Specialist performs duties to assist in the management and administration of the Housing Choice Voucher Program and is primarily responsible for program participants related to continued eligibility in compliance with federal regulations, the Public Housing Authority (PHA) Administrative Plan, and standard operating procedures.
Full program accountability including, but not limited to, accurate and complete files, resolution, and responsiveness to participant and owner inquiries. Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing as well as interpersonal skills. Strong computer skills, mathematical abilities, and reading comprehension is required.
