Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Pipefitter to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of piping systems in various construction environments. This role requires a strong understanding of blueprints and schematics, as well as proficiency with hand tools and welding techniques. The Pipefitter will work closely with other tradespeople to ensure that all systems are built and maintained to the highest standards.
Responsibilities
- Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to determine the layout of piping systems, including drawings, as well as knowing how to fit pipes.
- Use hand tools and power tools effectively for pipe threading and assembly.
- Collaborate with construction teams on-site to ensure timely project completion.
- Must be able to work in tandem with a welder.
- Troubleshoot issues with existing piping systems and implement necessary repairs or modifications.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area on the construction site.
- Must be able to crawl, kneel, squat, and climb
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds on a regular basis, unassisted
- Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods of time
Qualifications
- Proven experience of 5+ years as a Pipefitter within a commercial or industrial industry.
- Strong understanding of basic math principles relevant to pipefitting tasks.
- Proficiency in reading blueprints and schematics related to plumbing and piping systems.
- Ability to work effectively with hand tools and power tools for pipe installation and maintenance.
- Knowledge of pipe threading methods and equipment operation.
- Must have essential hand tools exprected for trade. (Welder gauge, pipefitter square, fitter grips, hacksaw, cutting torch, level etc)

Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour
