Responsibilities

Performs quality CT procedures under the guidance of a Radiologist.

Responsible for accurate and timely completion of CT/Radiology procedures.

Responsible for educating and preparing patients for their examinations.

Operate head or body x-ray scanners which create a computer-generated cross-sectional image, commonly called a CAT (Computed Axial Tomography) Scan.

Determine and set appropriate technical parameters to accurately demonstrate anatomy and pathology.

Cleaning and maintaining CT Scan equipment.

Must be flexible with work schedule.

Attend staff meetings as needed.

Other duties as assigned.
Education and Experience

Required: Associate degree from an Accredited Radiology/CT Program

Required: 2+ years related experience

Required: Must be ARRT (R) (CT) registered

Required: Active NM MIRTP Licensure (Medical Imaging & Radiation Therapy Program)

Required: Current BLS
