Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a wide variety of beverages, including cocktails, wine, craft beers, and non-alcoholic options, ensuring consistency and quality.
- Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner to understand their preferences and recommend drinks or menu items accordingly.
- Maintain a thorough knowledge of beverage recipes, ingredients, and presentation standards to deliver exceptional service.
- Operate Toast
- Manage bar inventory, restock supplies, and ensure cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with food safety standards.
- Develop new beverage recipes and contribute creative ideas to enhance our drink menu offerings.
- Handle cash handling responsibilities responsibly while processing payments swiftly during busy service periods.
- Collaborate with the restaurant team to ensure seamless food and beverage service during events like banquets or catering functions.
- Uphold high standards of food safety, sanitation, and responsible alcohol service at all times.
Experience
- Proven experience as a bartender or mixologist in a fast-paced environment; fine dining experience is highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of spirits, wine, craft beer, cocktail techniques, and beverage recipe development.
- Familiarity with Toast
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during peak hours.
- Previous food service or restaurant experience with an emphasis on customer service excellence.
- Experience working in hospitality industry settings including banquet or catering environments is advantageous.
- Knowledge of food safety protocols, food handling procedures, and basic math skills for retail math and cash handling tasks.
