Traffic Control Supervisor
Job Summary
We are seeking a dependable and experienced Traffic Control Supervisor to lead field crews and ensure the safe, efficient management of traffic control operations on construction and roadway projects. The ideal candidate will oversee daily activities, maintain compliance with safety regulations, and provide strong leadership while maintaining the highest standards of safety and professionalism.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate daily traffic control operations and field crews.
- Develop and implement traffic control plans according to project requirements.
- Ensure all traffic control devices are installed, maintained, and removed correctly.
- Conduct site inspections to verify compliance with OSHA, MUTCD, client, and company safety standards.
- Train, mentor, and evaluate traffic control technicians and flaggers.
- Schedule crew assignments and monitor attendance, performance, and productivity.
- Communicate with project managers, contractors, inspectors, and local agencies.
- Inspect equipment and vehicles to ensure they are safe and operational.
- Respond promptly to traffic incidents or emergency situations on job sites.
- Complete daily reports, safety documentation, and project records.
Required Qualifications
- Current Traffic Control Supervisor (TCS) certification is REQUIRED. No exceptions.
- Thorough knowledge of MUTCD standards and traffic control procedures.
- Previous supervisory experience in traffic control, roadway construction, or a related field.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Must successfully pass a pre-employment background check.
- Must successfully pass a pre-employment drug screening.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions and perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting up to 50 pounds.
- Must be reliable, punctual, and committed to maintaining a safe work environment.

Schedule: Full-time. Day, night, weekend, and overtime hours may be required based on project needs.
Work Location: On-site at various project locations.
Important: Applicants must possess a current Traffic Control Supervisor (TCS) certification at the time of application. Candidates who do not hold the required certification, or who cannot successfully complete the required background check and drug screening, will not be considered for employment.
Pay: From $18.00 per hour
