Job Overview
We are seeking a Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems and be able to perform maintenance, repairs, and installations. This role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to delivering high-quality service to our clients.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance and inspections on HVAC systems to ensure optimal performance.
- Diagnose and repair issues with heating, cooling, and refrigeration equipment.
- Install new HVAC systems and components as needed.
- Utilize tools such as ohmmeters for electrical testing and troubleshooting.
- Weld components when necessary for system repairs or installations.
- Assist with property maintenance tasks related to HVAC systems.
- Drive company vans to various job sites while adhering to safety regulations.
Experience
- 2-5 years experience in the field
- Familiarity with air conditioning systems, boilers, and other HVAC equipment.
- Experience in service technician roles is highly desirable.
- Ability to perform equipment repairs efficiently and effectively.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
The ideal candidate would be on call "as needed" with the other technicians and would be compensated for that time. Plumbing and electrical experience is preferred. A refrigerant certificate is preferred, or easily able to obtain it.
Paid holidays and paid vacation will be included with this position.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $22.00 - $28.00 per hour
